Stories Are Not Neutral
The first NOICE anthology piece is live, and every proceed goes to immigration justice

Stories are not neutral.
That’s the line Ed and I kept coming back to while putting NOICE together — a community charity anthology of fiction, poetry, and art, centered on love as resistance. Twelve works, one shared belief: that beauty and outrage can build the empathy a movement needs, even if a story can’t topple a government on its own.
Read it, and if it moves you, donate.
All the money goes directly to RAICES an immigration legal services organization supporting families under direct attack right now. Every proceed, digital and print, goes to the cause.
Cover art is in progress, and more pieces will publish through the summer.
This one isn’t ours alone. It’s any writers and artists’ who said yes to naming what’s happening and putting the humanity systems try to erase back, front and center.
If you read one thing this week, let it be this.
